Curtis Hill

Curtis has served Ogletown as Senior Pastor since 2007.

He was born in Oklahoma, grew up in Augusta, Georgia, and has 6 siblings. He received his graduate degree (M.Div.) at Temple Baptist Seminary (Chattanooga, TN) and completed his doctorate at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (Louisville, KY). Prior to coming to Ogletown, he served as an Associate Pastor at Brainerd Baptist Church in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He and his wife Shawna have three children, and live in Newark.

Curtis enjoys family time, podcasts, watching the Oklahoma Sooners, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, music of all genres, reading, learning more about history, as well as sports. In the spring time, you might see him coaching at a track meet. He has served on the leadership teams of the Baptist Convention of Maryland/Delaware, the Evangelical Minister’s Fellowship (New Castle County), and the Delaware Baptist Association.
